Welcome to the website of Sladovňa, a.s. Michalovce which is one of the most important malt producers in Slovakia. Since its existence, in the 60-s of the last century, it has been producing Czech (Pilsner) type of malt which represents the top quality in the light malt assortment. Annually we process 40,000 tonnes of malt barley which are supplied by more than 120 agricultural enterprises and farmers mainly from eastern parts of Slovakia. Thanks to the high quality of the final product and strategic location of the company, near the borders of three countries – Ukraine, Hungary and Poland the whole production is focused on export.

Our most important business partners are in Ukraine, Romania, Moldavia, Russia and Poland.
